
Co-Facilitator of Sacred Pursuits: Let’s Talk About White Privilege, September 2017
Using the UCC curriculum for initiating discussion among white people about white privilege, my husband and I led a six-week series at First Congregational Church of Fresno. We had 96 people at our first session, which became a robust group of 40 through the rest of the six sessions.

Camp Director, Camp Tamarack Junior Camp | More Years Than I Can Count

As a co-director of junior camps, listening to both what is working and is not working for the staff and campers is key. Keeping enough space in the schedule for the Holy Spirit to surprise us is key to my style of camp leadership. How else would we have ever discovered the joys of “mud ball”??? Camping at Tamarack is an opportunity for kids to disconnect from their devices and connect with God’s world in a very dusty, rustic way that you just can’t get on the Valley floor.
